Paintball this weekend - Orion Valley - May 5, 2012

We are playing this Saturday, May 5th at Orion Valley.  The weather will be sunny with a high of 90, so let's get started early.  Be at the field and ready to go by 9:30am.

Primary scenario:  Pistols & Pumps

That's right . . . this weekend we'll be kicking it old school.

Special requirements:  This one will be all pumps or semi-auto pistols (clip-fed only, no hopper mods).  Bring out your Splatmasters, PGPs, paint bows, blowguns, spitwads, slingshots, or if you are Wes, your Carter Machine (sound of angels).

If you plan on being or bringing out someone as a guest this weekend, please let me know in advance, so that we can have some gear put aside for them. We have a very limited set of spare pumps (read: ONE), so let me know ASAP if you wanna come out and play.  Priority goes to the core group.  Bring a ruck and what you need to sustain while playing (water, camelback, etc.), so you don't have to climb up and down the death hill to get your goods.

Please note, if you need directions they are posted in the forums, under the "Orion Raiders Paintball" section.  There will also be a games discussion for this weekend listed there as well.

We'll probably have only one more game before we close shop for the summer, so keep an eye out for the updates.

Look forward to seeing everyone there!

Paintball this weekend - The Ranch - April 21, 2012

We are playing this Saturday, April 21st at The Ranch.  The weather will be sunny with a high of 82 - incredible.  Plan on rendezvousing at the gate by 9:30am and try to have your gear ready to go.

Primary scenario:  SNIPER/COUNTER SNIPER

Slow moving through the brush for sniper discovery and elimination.  The scenario will be focusing on some small-team brush clearing and sniper eradication.  You will be using your 3-man team to take out an opposing team of snipers who will be preventing you from reaching your extraction point.

Special requirements:  Well, ghillie suits obviously.  If not, burlap sacks, camo netting, or that ill-conceived bigfoot costume you used once for Halloween would all be appropriate.  Good time for your paintball sniper rifle (LOL).

If you plan on being or bringing out someone as a guest this weekend, please let me know in advance, so that we can have some gear put aside for them. Thanks to the marker work day, we have 5 guest set-ups that are ready to go.  Bring a ruck and what you need to sustain while playing (water, camelback, etc.).

Pay Yer Dues

The dues have been depleted getting all of the guest guns back into working order.  Next on the list is some more masks, followed by more mines.   The dues for the season are $25 or $40 for the year.   Please consider paying these via Paypal, or bring cash out to the game.
